Honest scope — no promises the product has not shipped yet.

  • Does not install or configure Google Analytics 4 on your site
  • Does not include demo content in the distribution ZIP
  • A/B tests between blocks require a Pro license
  • No licensing, payments, or Pro limits active yet
  • Does not replace affiliate networks, cloaking, or revenue attribution beyond GA4
  • Full CTR (impressions) stays in GA4; the plugin aggregates per-link clicks in wp-admin

Analytics

GA4 when you already have gtag

The plugin fires structured events on link clicks. Your site must expose gtag on the frontend — Rota.WP Core does not install GA4 for you.

Requirements and setup

Requirements

  • →WordPress 6.0 or higher
  • →PHP 7.4 or higher
  • →upload_files capability for admin images (Editor or Administrator)
  • →gtag on frontend (optional, for GA4)

Steps

  1. Download rotawp-core.zip and upload via Plugins → Add new → Upload plugin
  2. Activate — folder must be rotawp-core/
  3. Add links under Rota WP Core → Links
  4. Build blocks under Rota WP Core → Blocks and copy the shortcode
  5. Paste [rota-wp-core bloco="slug"] in a post or configure auto-insert

  • **Carrossel — estilo 3 (cards coloridos):** lane de scroll deixa de herdar `display: grid` / regras de `.rwp-colored-static` e `overflow-y: auto`; faixa horizontal com cards de largura fixa e setas funcionais.
  • **Carrossel — estilos 1/2/5:** overrides flex consolidados para `.rwp-grid-*` e `.rwp-grid-trust` em modo scroll (mesma causa de especificidade do estilo 4 corrigido em 1.4.36).

  • **Carrossel — estilo 4 (hero):** `.rwp-hero-grid` deixava de usar `display: grid` em modo scroll; faixa horizontal e setas passam a funcionar (antes ficava grade 2 colunas com controles visíveis).

  • **Front — Links em Carrossel:** render respeita `links_layout=carousel` já salvo na meta (sem rebaixar entitlement no `should_use_scroll`); hub recebe `rwp-layout-scroll` e wrapper `data-rwp-scroll`.
  • **Estilo 4 — hero:** links usam `render_links_container` / scroll lane como os demais estilos.
  • **Safe mode:** `get_block_data_minimal()` inclui `links_layout` para decisão de layout consistente.

  • **Admin — estilo do bloco:** removido loop infinito `setStyle` → `trigger('change')` que estourava a stack do jQuery na carga da página e impedia seleção de links e pré-visualização.

Do I need to install Google Analytics?

Not to use the plugin. For click tracking, your site should already have gtag/GA4 — the plugin only fires events.

Does it work with any WordPress theme?

Yes. Output is isolated HTML/CSS (rwp-* classes) and shortcode — works with classic themes and the block editor.

Can I migrate from Travel Hub (rth_*)?

Yes. v1 migrates CPTs, meta keys, options, and legacy shortcodes automatically on activation.

Does the ZIP include demo content?

No. The distribution package is clean; local Docker preview is for developers in the repo.

Which styles are free?

In v1.1, styles 1 (cards) and 2 (circular icons) are free. Styles 3 and 4 require a Pro license.

What if I already use style 3 or 4?

Updating to v1.1 without a license gives you a 30-day grace period with admin notices. After that, the front falls back to style 1 until you activate Pro.

How do I activate Pro?

WordPress → Rota WP Core → License → paste your RWP-XXXX key and click Activate. Validation runs against the RotaLabs API.

Is the plugin still GPL?

Yes. Code stays GPL. Pro unlocks premium styles (3/4) via license — a common pattern for commercial WordPress plugins.
